On May 9th and 10th, the Veteran Voices of Pittsburgh Transmedia Oral History Project, in partnership with Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum in Oakland, will be preserving the life stories of more Pittsburgh area WWII veterans.
Kevin Farkas of The Social Voice Project will be managing the audiography in cooperation with with the videography of Todd DePastino (The Veterans Breakfast Club) and the photography of Andy Marchese Photography.
Veteran Voices of Pittsburgh is a nonprofit oral
history initiative based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Our mission is to preserve
and share the voices, images, and experiences of Pittsburgh area veterans of all
branches of service and eras, including peace and war-time service.
